World Country

Somebody in an Indian family is almost always coming home from somewhere, or has a relative settled somewhere else entirely. This collection is built around both kinds of trip.

The Gulf and Southeast Asia cover the most common routes: Dubai and Abu Dhabi's skyline and Formula 1 nights, Saudi Arabia (home to more overseas Indians than any other country, plus Mecca and Medina for pilgrims returning from Umrah), Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, and Thailand and Bali, two of the most common first-international-trip destinations for Indian travellers. Europe spans Italy's Colosseum, France's Eiffel Tower, Switzerland's Alps, Greece's islands, Iceland's glaciers, and smaller stops like Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark and Budapest's thermal baths. Further out, the collection reaches the United States, Canada and Australia, three countries with large settled Indian communities, plus New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, China and Mauritius, whose own Indian-origin population traces back to nineteenth-century indentured labour.

Whichever trip it was — a study visa, a work posting, a honeymoon, or a pilgrimage — there's likely a magnet here for it. Looking closer to home instead? Indian State Fridge Magnets gathers every state Stickerji makes, or dig into one region at a time: North East India, East India, South India, Western India or North India.
